Rapunzel is a girl. She has very, very long hair. Her hair is golden like the sun. It shines bright every day. Her hair is strong and soft, like silk. It grows longer and longer each year. Rapunzel lives in a tall tower. The tower has no door, only a window. She looks outside and dreams of freedom. She watches the birds fly in the sky. She sees clouds move, white and light. She wishes to walk on the grass below. She wants to run in the forest and sing. A wicked witch keeps her there.
